My wife and I recently started looking for online business opportunities so that we could have a little more financial security and hopefully work from home full time. We love the idea of setting our own hours and being able to take care of our 15 month old daughter (Anna) at home rather than sending her to daycare every day where she didn't seem to be learning anything. I've had a good deal of success designing websites but the work is not dependable so we are looking for alternatives.

There are thousands upon thousands of websites claiming to have the only product that will make you a millionaire in 5 minutes. I feel we are not completely naïve about the ways of the world and there fore are not gullible enough to expect anything worthwhile to be easy or particularly fast. This is probably the first thing we look for when deciding whether or not to explore an opportunity further. We thought that a good approach would be to find reviews by other real people to see what really worked or not. Of course, there are plenty of web sites claiming to be review sites. Great. That's what we want. Unfortunately though, upon further exploration of these sites, all the reviews seemed to be were fictional reviews supplied by the owners of the web sites themselves designed to promote their own products. None of the sites we've found provided any way to submit articles ourselves so how could anyone else?  Since I happen to design web sites myself, we decided to build one just for this purpose (the link will be provided below). Anyway,  we did discover some blogs about this subject and have decided there are plenty of legitimate online opportunities available if you're willing to put in the work (as in WORK from home).

Some of the opportunities we do not recommend are the stuffing envelopes at home "opportunities."  If someone out there has had a positive experience with one of those, please write us and let us know.  The work involved is too much for the pay on the ones we have found.  We also have gone down many a rabbit trail chasing opportunities only to be led from one page to the other and never getting the information we need.  Then, afterwards, we are bombarded with spam. That is actually the goal of most work at home websites - to get you to "opt in" or to give up your email address so that they can spam you with  offers or even to sell your info to others in this business.

Some of the best ways to make money online include selling items you actually own on ebay  and elsewhere. This is a good way to get your feet wet in order to prepare you for more advanced selling. There are also many suppliers of goods who are willing to "dropship" merchandise and put your name on the shipping label. This enables you to sell many goods on Ebay or your own online store. Doba is a reputable supplier.
